Let There Be

I have learned to walk away from some things—
And enjoy the echo of each footstep tapping on the floor as I go!
I have a one way ticket, and that whiff of jet fuel invigorates me
As I see boarding is about to begin at 'Gate A-1' from things that limit me and
My longing to create; like:
Controlling people. Frustrated and quite mediocre. Often heard complaining
About the "way things are." They are
Unable to manage their own affairs, yet seem gravitated to positions of power.
There they dismantle the lightning, so as to display their pet lightning bug.
They mutter things like, “You can’t do that.”
They habitually cast careless comments or deliberately deliver derision:
"You're too ________, & ________, & _______."
Or, "You're not _________, _______, and/or ______."
The politics of experience has proven irreplaceable as it allowed me to garner
Wisdom and confidence.
Now I quickly fly from
People who place me in the “categories” listed above.
How would they know me? (Knowing me was never their aim.)
I have chosen to focus on things higher and more noble, beginning with:
I WAS CREATED BY A CREATOR WHO CREATED ME TO CREATE.
And so were YOU.
What I create might not always be appreciated by everyone,
Might not be of interest to you,
Might not make me famous,
Or make me rich,
But I can create it. And it is meaningful to me.
And some others may be entertained.
So, I should create. And
So should you.
And, even if there was no other rationale,
"Because I want to." is also a great reason for authors, composers, conceivers; everyone
To do as our Creator commanded and endowed us with ability :to
Let the light shine out of the darkness!
For
Each of us was infused with unique gifts to love and serve our neighbor.
If you've learned nothing else from what I’ve written here,
Repeat over, and over, and over, the sentence above typed in ALL CAPS.
